Tunisia’s judges are divided over the best way to make sure that those judges who followed Ben Ali’s orders, or who took bribes, are excluded from the law courts.
This is an important issue not least because former president Ben Ali, along with his relatives and others accused of major corruption or human rights abuses, will be standing trial soon.
